Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 7 yrs.

And what can I do if I'm a dinosaur or a doctor? Having these sorts of reflections while playing helps to develop your child's social skills. Role playing helps children develop their sense of the world around them. Maileg was started in 1999 by Dorthe og Erik Mailil, who set out to design durable toys with personality and soul as a counterbalance to fast trends and throw-away culture. The name Maileg is a combination of the Danish word for ""play"" and the founders' surname. Based in Herning, Denmark, Maileg creates animal figures, Christmas elves, and accessories that radiate ""hygge"" and Scandinavian design.Maileg's elves, mice, and figures are made with slow, calm play in mind. It's all about building worlds and immersing yourself in stories with toys whose quality and appearance will last for years. Your child gets to form a close, heartfelt bond with their toys and the cute little mice and elves.
Maileg puts a strong focus on high quality in the details, materials and expressions of their toys. Their designs speak to both children and grown-ups. Not all Maileg products are toys - some of the elves, mice, and other figurines are purely decorative. But the Maileg universe is so great at sparking kids' imaginations that we're happy to offer even the more delicate, display-only pieces to our customers regardless.
