Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to 11 yrs.Sensory chew toys are a general term for chew jewellery, chew toys, chew necklaces, and vibrating chew toys for children who feel such a strong urge to chew and bite on something that special tools are needed to provide oral sensory input. Some children suck, chew, and nibble on things to calm their nervous system by stimulating the many nerve endings (so-called receptors) of the mouth and teeth. There is no risk associated with a strong need to chew on things, but if you would like to give pillows, pencils, and shirt sleeves a break, then a sensory chew toy is a good idea. Our chew tools are all hygienic and safe to use.
If out of the blue your child loses interest in food or their behaviour changes, or if you want to let your child use the vibrating oral motor tool Z-vibe, we recommend that you get guidance from an occupational therapist.
