This beautiful pastel set is fun to build with on its own, or as an add-on to our Connetix ball run sets, so you can build your ball runs even higher. 

The set includes:

Building and constructing is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We could easily write a whole essay about how construction play develops your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as their interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.

With this type of play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with problem-solving when it comes to figuring out how to set up the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building blocks, pieces, or magnets stimulates their imagination. And it's just such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe make an impressive row of dominoes and film it as it topples.

Do you know CONNETIX?

In 2019, a mom and a dad were standing on a playground in Australia and came up with the idea for Connetix. Their children loved playing and building with magnetic building toys, and the parents came up with the idea to create even more see-through magnetic building toys. At the same time, they designed a ball run that matched the magnets - and thus the original Connetix was born. Connetix are magnetic construction tiles that have a cleaner and more transparent design than, for example, Magna-Tiles. Connetix are even prettier to look through when your child builds in 2D against a window or on a light panel. They have two magnets per side and fit together perfectly with Magna-Tiles and Cleverclixx - but not with Magformers.

If you want to make ball runs, it's best to have a set of square magnetic construction tiles (either Connetix or Magna-Tiles) AND a set with ball run parts. The ball run packs contain no, or only a few, regular building tiles, so they require a few extra parts to be stable and pretty.
