Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 7 yrs.
Playing with face paint, dolls, animal figures, play sets, and dressing up are all ways of role playing. Role play is key in your child's development. While role playing, your child develops their ability to think creatively in relation to their own identity. What can I do as a sword fighter or a giant? How does a doctor or a turtle talk? Such reflections strengthen your child's social skills. When role playing, your child is able to learn about rules, boundaries, and opportunities for identity formation and social interaction, and this strengthens their sense of the world around them.
