Play with hand puppets lets your child practise telling and understanding a story with a beginning and an end. This is a very important skill which can be practised by talking about a story while you're telling it, and telling it over and over.
When children are learning to understand stories, physical props can be very useful. With hand puppets, your child can practise storytelling.
