Play with hand puppets lets your child practise telling and understanding a story with a beginning and an end. This is an important skill which can be practised by telling a story again and again.

When children are learning to understand stories, physical props can be very useful. A hand puppet allows your child practise storytelling. Also, they're a super nice way to bring a fairy tale or story to life. The reader telling the story does not get hidden behind a book but gets to be in active contact with the little listeners, who can actively participate in the story instead of just listening passively.

Hand puppets are great to use at home with your child and in nurseries and preschools – or for people with special needs, such as dementia.
