If you want to get your little knowledge-seeker a microscope, remember that price and quality most often go together. So think about what you and your child want to study with the microscope.
For example, if you want to examine a drop of blood under the microscope, we suggest that you get a microscope for children which has over 400x magnification. It’s a higher price range, but your child will learn and understand so much more when they get to focus the lens and see for themselves. But it’s also great fun to observe a fly or a dead spider way up close, and you can easily do that with a simpler microscope.
