Microscope features: 

The microscope features a rotating nosepiece with three objective lenses. Simply turn the nosepiece to switch to the magnification you need. With magnification from 40x to 640x, this is one of our mid-range microscopes, offering plenty of power to reveal fascinating details in leaves, soil, and other everyday specimens.

Transparent specimens are illuminated from below, so light shines through the specimen instead of onto it. This lets you observe internal details rather than just the surface.

The set includes plenty of fascinating specimens to explore, including brine shrimp eggs that you can hatch yourself, feed, and then observe alive under the microscope.

A smartphone adapter is included, so you can capture your discoveries and easily share them with family and friends.

About the telescope:

This telescope offers 18x to 60x magnification and features a 50 mm objective lens with a 360 mm focal length.

The adjustable tabletop tripod keeps the telescope steady while you observe the night sky. You can easily move the telescope up, down, left, or right without having to adjust the tripod itself.

The telescope is powerful enough to observe details on the Moon's surface and explore wonders like the Orion Nebula and the Lyra constellation.

Your child may need a little help from an adult to focus the microscope.

The tripod has short legs and is designed for use on a tabletop or other flat surface.

Suitable for children aged 8 yrs. to Seniors

When you want to get your inquisitive kiddo a microscope, remember that price and quality most often go hand in hand. So it's a good idea to reflect on what your child would like to study under the microscope.

For example, if you would like to examine the contents of a drop of blood under the microscope, we recommend that you get a microscope for children which has over 400x magnification. It’s a higher price bracket than simpler microscopes, but your child will learn and understand so much more when they can focus the microscope and learn about science on their own. But it’s also interesting to look at a dead spider or a fly way up close, and you can definitely do that with a simpler microscope.

For instance, if a telescope has 27x magnification, it means that something which is 27 metres away from you will appear in the telescope as if it's only 1 metre away.

An adult must be present to teach your child how this instrument works to ensure that it is assembled correctly and your child learns to focus the telescope.

When it comes to telescopes, you usually get what you pay for. Beginner telescopes are great for introducing your child to STEM and astronomy for a reasonable price. The big aha moments will usually come with a more advanced telescope, which will also be more expensive, with higher magnification and extra features.
