Building and constructing is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We could certainly write a whole essay about how this type of play develops your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
While playing, your child also gets practical experience with solving problems when they need to figure out how to build the construction so it doesn't collapse. Plus-Plus are lovely construction toys that most children love.
