Construction play is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We won't burden you with a long and tedious dissertation on how this type of play benefits your child's fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination as well as understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets real-life experience with solving problems when it comes to figuring out how to assemble the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks develops their imagination and patience. Do you know Plus-Plus?
Plus-Plus are wonderful construction toys that most children love. The pieces are shaped like little plus signs and can be put together both in 2D and 3D – and they come in many colours and in both small (2 x 1.2 x 0.4 cm) and large (5 x 3 x 1 cm) sizes. Building with Plus-Plus expands kids' understanding of geometry and logic. On YouTube (among other places), you'll find lots of building instructions and ideas for building with Plus-Plus.Plus-Plus® pieces are manufactured in Denmark, and the factory exclusively makes use of renewable energy sources. You can put them in the washer/dishwasher at 60 degrees.
Plus-Plus can last for many years of play in schools and daycares, and they can withstand almost a whole lifetime of building play at home. Give away or sell your Plus-Plus when the day comes when your child gets tired of playing with the building pieces.
