Construction play is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We'll leave out a long-winded piece about how this type of play strengthens your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
With this type of play, your child also gets practical experience with solving problems as they figure out how to set up the construction so it doesn't collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials makes it fun for them to concentrate. Also, it's just such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to create a really cool domino track and film it as it topples.
The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

The pieces are shaped like small plus symbols and can be put together on all sides – and you can choose between small (2 x 1.2 x 0.4 cm) or large (5 x 3 x 1 cm) pieces in a variety of colours. Plus-Plus are lovely construction toys that most children love. Building with Plus-Plus develops kids' sense of logic and geometry. On YouTube (among other places), you can find many fun instructions and suggestions for creating various structures with Plus-Plus.You can wash Plus-Plus® pieces in the dishwasher/washing machine at 60 degrees. The Plus-Plus® pieces are manufactured in Denmark, and the factory exclusively uses renewable energy sources.
You can give away or sell your Plus-Plus when the day comes when your child no longer wants to play with the pieces. Plus-Plus® can last for years of use in childcare facilities, and they'll last almost a whole lifetime at home in the family.
