PUKY Accessory - FLH Training Handle
Do you remember learning to ride a bike with an adult jogging behind you, hands at the ready to catch you before things got wobbly… or before you steered straight into a hedge or a parked car? Maybe with a broomstick contraption for backup?
Here’s a more modern (and much more practical) solution: a training handle for PUKY bikes that lets you steady, steer, or swoop in just in time.
Some professionals recommend a training handle instead of training wheels, as training wheels can give children a false sense of balance.
This PUKY training handle includes a saddle and is designed for PUKY pedal bikes (except LS PRO models). It can also be mounted on seat posts of other bikes—as long as they don’t have a built-in bracket. The seat post diameter is 22 mm.
Please note: this handle does not fit balance bikes—and that’s intentional. On a balance bike, your child needs to be able to put both feet on the ground and find their balance on their own.
The training handle can be attached whether the saddle is set high or at its lowest position.
FLH stands for Fahrrad-Lernhilfe—German (just like PUKY) for “help with learning to ride a bike.”
