Suitable for children aged 1 yr. to 5 yrs.A balance bike has no pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their feet while straddling it. Balance bikes are fantastic for strengthening your child's cross-body coordination and balance from an early age.
Being able to race around and control their own speed (far more easily than on a standard bike) gives your child a sense of freedom. At the same time, you can also practise left/right, understanding traffic signals, and looking out for other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without having to worry about them having too many accidents - because your child has a foot on the ground at all times and can regain balance or stop the bike.
An ideal way to prepare for learning to ride a bike with pedals. Quite often, your child can skip using training wheels on their regular bike, because they've already had lots of balance training.
