What makes this product special

Is it a boat? Or maybe a tunnel to enter the pillow fort? Or a bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to cross?

This climbing bow is sturdy and stable, has lovely colours, and can be played with in a multitude of fun ways, for example as a bridge when standing up and as a fun rocker when flipped over.

Use the climbing bow on its own or combine it with a climbing triangle or ramp if you want to build a larger climbing or obstacle course.

Great for balance training, motor skills play, and building forts and dens in playrooms, gyms, and at home.

Max load: 50 kg.

This activity develops important skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • Stimulates your child's gross motor skills, which are boosted whenever your child engages in physical activity.
  • This is a way for your child to stimulate their vestibular sense, which helps us to spin in circles, stand on one leg, or ride in a car without getting dizzy, losing our balance, or getting car sick.
  • Supports kids' proprioception, which is also called the body awareness sense or the kinesthetic sense.

Measures 45 x 108 x 67 cm.
Suitable for children aged 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.

“Sit still and stop rocking the chair” doesn’t apply with motor skills furniture (thankfully). In fact, being able to rock and roll (furniture wise) can help children with motor restlessness find calm. Your child's vestibular sense and proprioception need input to function and thrive. And when your child's need for sensory input is met, the body will relax and function better.

Motor skills furniture bought at Toy Academy is extra durable and can withstand years of use.
