This beautiful and original stacking set invites your child into the magical world beneath the sea.  

The colourful ocean animals can be stacked on the coral reef, strengthening your child's hand-eye coordination and building vocabulary as you chat about the animals and their underwater lives.  

Includes: a fabric drawstring bag, a stacking coral, a shrimp, a squid, a crab, a seahorse, a hermit crab, a sea urchin, a starfish, a sea anemone, 2 eels, 4 fish, and 4 small corals.

Made from rubberwood left over from latex production in Indonesian forests.

The toys are produced at a family-owned factory in Indonesia, where the Tender Leaf Toys team spends two months each year developing toys and working alongside local villagers.

For every tree felled, a new one is planted. Tender Leaf Toys has been recognised by the ICTI Ethical Toy Program for their efforts to make the entire production process more socially and environmentally sustainable.

The toys are hand-painted and manually packed in recycled cardboard, and Tender Leaf Toys has almost managed to completely eliminate the use of single-use plastic.

The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

• Develops hand-eye coordination, which is activated for example when we catch, throw, or kick the ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, or when we cut a precise line with a pair of scissors or want to pour water into a glass without spilling.

When children play by stacking blocks or other small objects on top of each other, which they start doing as soon as they are able to sit up on their own, they simultaneously learn about proportions, physics, balance, and gravity. At first, it’s mostly about toppling the stack of blocks. But gradually, your child's motor skills become stronger, and they start to build block towers or experiment with stacking toy animals or other things. If the blocks have numbers on them, your child can get better at numbers and their sequences while playing.
