The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- This type of play helps your child improve their depth perception skills. Among other things, this will help your child walk or cycle in traffic more safely. "How fast is the car coming towards me?" suddenly becomes a bit easier to assess.
- Gives your child's fine motor skills a playful boost.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting a straight line with scissors, pouring a glass of water without spilling, or when catching or kicking a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.
