Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.Construction play is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We won't burden you with a long and tedious dissertation on how this type of play supports your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With construction play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with problem-solving as they figure out how to design the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials stimulates their imagination. Also, it's just so satisfying to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to maybe make an amazing domino track and film it as it topples.

Kapla building blocks are both brilliant and simple at the same time. They are made of pine and are extremely easy to balance, stable, and durable - and their slightly rough texture makes them easy to build with. Kapla blocks can be used to build surprisingly large structures. On social media, you can see huge, focus-intensive constructions of Tower Bridge or beautiful spiral staircases, made only from the wooden blocks from Kapla.Your child learns about cause and effect and how to deal with disappointment, if their awesome structure comes crashing down. It's super frustrating, but it's also very educational for your child to have to find solutions.
