What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 6 yrs. to 10 yrs.
It develops your child's depth perception to play ball using their hands, feet, head, or a bat/racket. Besides, ball games may have rules, and it's beneficial for your child to practise following and negotiating them. So, when your child stubbornly claims that there's certainly NO penalty kick, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, feel free to cheer - that's a learning moment. Playing with balls also gives your child's proprioception thorough workout - and that's a sense that cannot be overstimulated.
The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This type of play helps your child train their depth perception skills. For instance, this will help your child navigate traffic more safely. "How fast is the car coming towards me?" suddenly becomes a little easier to judge.
- Great for getting your child's body moving, which in turn engages their gross motor skills.
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on for instance when we catch, throw, or kick a ball that comes flying towards us in PE class, when we cut in a straight line line with a pair of scissors, or when we want to pour a glass of water without spilling and making a mess.
