What makes this product special

When mischievous little balls roll off and hide, it’s always good to have a few extras handy.

Here, important skills are engaged, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Gives your child all kinds of opportunities to unleash their imagination.
  • Supports your child's fine motor skills.
  • This type of play develops your child's spatial awareness.

Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.

Building and construction play is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We won't burden you with a long piece about how this type of play strengthens your child's fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination as well as understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

With construction play, your child also gets hands-on experience with solving problems when it comes to figuring out how to build the construction so it doesn't collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials develops their patience. And it's just so satisfying to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to maybe create an impressive domino field and film it as it topples.

Do you know CONNETIX?

In 2019, two Australian parents started Connetix. Their children loved magnets, and the parents came up with the idea to create even more see-through magnetic building tiles. At the same time, they designed a ball run that matched the magnets - and thus the original Connetix was born. Connetix are magnetic construction tiles that are more transparent and have a cleaner design than, for example, Magna-Tiles. Connetix are much prettier to look through when your child builds in 2D against a window or on a light panel. They have two magnets per side and fit together perfectly with Magna-Tiles and Cleverclixx - but unfortunately not with Magformers.

If you want to make ball runs, it's best to have a set of square magnetic building tiles (either Magna-Tiles or Connetix) AND a set with ball run parts. The ball run packs contain no, or only a few, regular building tiles, so they require a few extra parts to be stable and pretty.
