Hand Puppet 25 cm - Duck

Ducks have incredibly sharp eyesight, with eyes on the sides of their heads giving them a 340-degree field of vision. They can see far away and up close at the same time. That’s quite a perspective.  So if you're looking for a perceptive storyteller for children, a duck is an excellent companion.  The duck is great at keeping an eye on the whole group — including the back row — and spotting who might need a little extra care today.

Playing with hand puppets allows your child to practise understanding and telling a story with a beginning and an end. This is a very important skill which can be developed by repeating the storytelling game over and over and adding your own touch to the story.

Hand puppets can bring storytelling to life. The storyteller does not get hidden away behind a book but gets to be in active contact with the little listeners, who can actively participate in the story instead of just listening passively.

Hand puppets are great to use together at home and in nurseries and preschools – or for people with special needs, such as dementia.
