Building and construction play is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We'll leave out a long-winded dissertation on how this type of play benefits your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
While playing, your child also gets real-life experience with solving problems as they figure out how to set up the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks makes it fun for them to concentrate. And it's just such a confidence boost to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to maybe create an amazing domino track and film it when it topples.

Do you know Magna-Tiles?
The quality magnetic building toys Magna-Tiles motivate and challenge kids to use geometric shapes to build both very small and quite large structures - just like bridges and footballs both consist of geometric shapes. Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides and edges, so they easily stick to each other via magnetism. The tiles come in many different themes, shapes, and sizes, with mirrors, transparent, and with figures. There is something for every child.Magna-Tiles are polarised so that the building tiles do not repel each other and can be put together no matter which way they're turned. The tiles are made of ABS plastic, which is very durable. They do not fit with Magformers, but they work with Connetix.
Magna-Tiles should be cleaned with a damp, well wrung out cloth. They should not be plunged in the sink with the dirty dishes or put in the dishwasher or washing machine. If they get wet, we recommend that you let them dry standing upright so the water can drain.
