Suitable for ages 2.5 yrs. to 7 yrs.A balance bike is a brilliant way to build up your child's balance and crossbody coordination from an early age. Balance bikes don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their feet while straddling it.
Being able to control their speed much more easily than on a normal bike gives your child a sense of freedom. At the same time, you can also practise left/right, understanding traffic signals, and looking out for other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without having to worry about them having too many accidents - because your child constantly has a foot on the ground and can slow down or regain balance.
A great way to prepare for learning to ride a pedal bike. Once your child is confident on the balance bike, using training wheels while they learn to ride their pedal bike often becomes an unnecessary middle step - because balance is not a problem for your child.
