What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 6 yrs.
This toy doesn't have any rules or right or wrong ways to play, and your child can simply play without having to think about how to use it. The goal is simply to play and be in the present moment. We call this type of play intuitive play - its also known as "open ended play". We recommend that you pause and watch how things unfold when your child plays in ways that let them follow their intuition.
Unlike types of play which are aimed at achieving a particular result, intuitive play will often give you a fascinating look into your child’s own imagination, problem-solving skills, and thought process.
This activity strengthens important skills which support your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Helps your child sharpen fine motor skills.
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on e.g. when we catch, throw, or kick the ball that comes flying at us in PE class, when we cut accurately line with a pair of scissors, or when we want to pour a glass of water without spilling.
