Aqua Dragons, or sea monkeys, give children and animal lovers of all ages the chance to observe these fascinating small creatures as they hatch. Sea monkeys have a long tail and three eyes, and they grow up to 2 cm in length.

You'll receive eggs that are dried and in a state of hibernation. The eggs come alive when you soak them in clean fresh water, and then the Aqua Dragons stay alive for around 3 months. After 2-3 days, the eggs hatch. At first, the Aqua Dragons will be so tiny you can't see them, but within a week you'll see them. Among other necessities, the kit includes enough food for approximately 5 months.

Once the eggs hatch, you should make sure that someone is around to check on them daily. It's only a couple of minutes of work, but it is essential for the health of the little sea monkeys . At the end of the day, Aqua Dragons/sea monkeys are living creatures. They may be invertebrates and low on the food chain, but as living beings they still need to be cared for with respect. Therefore, an adult should always be there to supervise when a child get Aqua Dragons - the same way they should be when a child get a hamster or a puppy.

When the first group of Aqua Dragons have died, you can often succeed in hatching any eggs that might remain. Follow the included instructions.
