Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new type of fuse beads and pegboards from the Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have produced fuse beads for pegboards for years.
BioBeads are made from the material Biodolomer. The production process takes less than 10 % of the water required to produce bioplastics from for example sugar cane. Biodolomer does not turn into microplastics in the ocean. It's heavier than water, which means it doesn't float around on the ocean surface. And it fully dissolves over time.
If you use fuse beads of regular plastic, you should not iron them together with BioBeads. Regular plastic beads and BioBeads have different melting points and will not stick together.
