What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new type of fuse beads and pegboards from Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have made fuse beads for pegboards for many years.
BioBeads are made from Biodolomer. The production process requires less than 10 % of the amount of water required to produce bioplastics from for example sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the oceans. It's heavier than water, so it doesn't float around on the ocean. And it fully dissolves over time.
If you also have regular plastic fuse beads in your bead collection, note that BioBeads will not stick to fuse beads made of regular plastic if ironed together. The two bead types melt at different temperatures.
