What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new kind of fuse beads and pegboards from the Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have produced fuse beads for pegboards for years.
BioBeads are made from Biodolomer. The manufacturing process takes less than 10 % of the amount of water used to produce bioplastics from for instance sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the sea. It's heavier than water, which means it doesn't float around on the sea surface. And it completely dissolves over time.
If you have regular plastic fuse beads in your fuse bead collection, note that BioBeads will not stick to fuse beads of regular plastic if ironed together. The two bead types melt at different temperatures.
