What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new kind of pegboards and fuse beads from Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have produced fuse beads for pegboards for many years.
They are made with the material Biodolomer, which is, among other things, also used to make plastic bags, as Biodolomer does not pollute the environment nearly as much as paper bags and for example sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the sea because it is fully biodegradable and heavier than water, which means it doesn't float on the ocean surface. Also, producing Biodolomer takes less than 10 % of the amount of water used to produce bioplastics.
If you have regular plastic fuse beads in your bead collection, note that BioBeads will not stick to fuse beads made from regular plastic if ironed together. The two bead types melt at different temperatures.
