Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new kind of pegboards and fuse beads from Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have produced fuse beads for pegboards for years.
BioBeads are made from the material Biodolomer. The manufacturing process requires less than a tenth of the water required to produce bioplastics from for instance sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the ocean. It's heavier than water, so it doesn't float around on the ocean. And it is fully biodegradable.
If you have fuse beads made of regular plastic, you shouldn't iron them together with BioBeads. Regular beads and BioBeads melt at different temperatures and will not fuse together.
