What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to 10 yrs. BioBeads are a new type of fuse beads and pegboards from Swedish manufacturer Nabbi, who have made fuse beads for pegboards for many years.
BioBeads are made from the material Biodolomer. The manufacturing process takes less than a tenth of the water required to produce bioplastics from for example sugar cane. Biodolomer does not end up as microplastics in the ocean. It's heavier than water, so it doesn't float around on the ocean surface. And over time, it completely dissolves.
If you also have regular plastic fuse beads in your bead collection, note that BioBeads cannot stick to fuse beads of regular plastic if ironed together. The two bead types melt at different temperatures.
