Suitable for children aged 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.Talk about where our food comes from and what happens to it inside the body. This helps expand your child’s knowledge and vocabulary. Play food is ideal for imaginative play, which inspires your child to act out real-life scenarios such as cooking, shopping, or going to a café.
Role play where children imitate everyday activities develops their understanding of the world around them. With play food, your child also gets to be silly and play with food in a way that is probably not acceptable at mealtime with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can take payment at the cash register and give back change, which improves their math skills.
Being at the beach or in the sandbox is a favourite playground experience for most kids. Turn the sand into impressive sand castles, scrumptious cakes, or roads so the favourite toy truck can work or drive around in the sand.
Get out your fine motor skills, imagination, bucket, and shovel. With water around, and the opportunity to explore small creatures at the beach, the opportunities for play are suddenly endless - and the sand and water stimulate your child's sense of touch (tactile sense).
