Suitable for ages 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.Play food is fantastic for pretend play, which inspires your child to copy real-life experiences such as cooking, shopping, or visiting a café. Have conversations about what happens to food inside the body, where our food comes from, and when we usually eat it. This strengthens your child’s vocabulary and knowledge.
Role play where children copy real-life activities supports their understanding of the world around them. With play food, your child also gets the chance to play and be silly with food in a way that is most likely not acceptable at mealtime with real food. You can also expand your child's play opportunities by playing grocery store, maybe with little homemade signs and price tags. That way, you can explore both numbers and letters, and your child can strengthen their math skills and their manners through role play.
