Building and construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We'll leave out a long essay about how this type of play stimulates your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

With construction play, your child also gets hands-on experience with solving problems when they need to figure out how to design the construction so it doesn't collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of magnets, building blocks, or pieces develops their imagination and patience. Also, it's so cool and satisfying to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to create a super cool domino field and film it as it topples.
