Animal figures are a bit of a children’s classic. Watch your child use them for all kinds of imaginative role play. Maybe the animals live on a farm, at the zoo, or in the wild – or maybe they take off to the city. The play with imagining what the animals experience strengthens your child’s ability to make up funny stories and put words to them.
Maybe the animals also want to be counted, sorted, stacked, or arranged according to their initials or the number of syllables or letters in their names. The animals are also great when your child is learning math and needs to find out how many animals you'll each have if you share them between you.
