Playing with monsters expands your child’s idea of what a friend can look like. Moreover, monsters are popular with children of any gender, which inspires kids to play together across their different interests, like princesses, swords, or cars. And with monsters, your child's imagination can run wild - because when your child creates, sculpts, or invents a monster, they get to decide whether it has seven ears, an eye on each knee, antennas, or arms everywhere. Normative rules of anatomy don't apply, and your child will feel proud to present their new monster friend, who, fortunately, is far from normal.

We carry playdough of several different colours and types and different firmness levels. Firm playdough stimulates your child’s proprioception by providing a bit more resistance. Among other things, firm playdough is very suitable for making stop motion movies, because the shape holds well.

It’s a calm activity that can help your child be still for just six more minutes - or help them deal with long train or car rides without fidgeting and moving around in their seat. Especially, for children who experience motor restlessness, fiddling with something that engages fine motor skills, hands, imagination, and proprioception while sitting still can bring a sense of calm.

Oil-based playdough tends to stay soft for several years. You can soften water-based playdough by mixing in a bit of water.
