How does it steer?
It’s all about balance! Instead of turning the handlebars (which actually don’t turn), your child steers by shifting their body weight from side to side.
That means balance training happens naturally as your child learns to control their centre of gravity by leaning their body from side to side.

Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 5 yrs.A balance bike has no pedals, so your child pushes the bike along with their feet while straddling the bike. Balance bikes are great for stimulating your child's balance and cross-body coordination from an early age.
Being able to control their speed much more easily than on a normal bike gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also teach your child about left/right, understanding traffic signals, and looking out for other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without having to worry about them having too many accidents - because your child always has a foot on the ground and is able to regain balance or stop the bike.
A wonderful way to prepare for learning to ride a bike with pedals. A lot of times, your child can skip using training wheels on their regular bike, because they already have great balance.
Riding a scooter is easy to learn, depending on your child's physical ability and age, of course. What's even better, scooters are easy to bring with you anywhere you go - and some of our scooters can even be folded up.
Older kids (and kids with balance bike experience) can zoom around on scooters with two wheels, or a trick scooter, while the smaller children can start by practising on three wheels.
