Top-notch quality and design, with a clear focus on safety, stability, and ergonomic comfort. From as early as age 1, your child can move around safely and comfortably.
How does it steer?
It’s all about balance! Instead of turning the handlebars (which actually don’t turn), your child steers by shifting their body weight from side to side.
That means balance training happens naturally as your child learns to control their centre of gravity by leaning their body from side to side.
More features:
The Highwaykick 1 is packed with clever features, including a patented front anti-tip bumper for extra safety. It helps prevent your child from tipping forward, so they can ride with confidence (and fewer tumbles).
Converting from balance bike to scooter (and back again) is quick and tool-free—done in just a few seconds.
The Highwaykick 1 Push and Go features a rear brake your child can use independently, plus an additional front brake so you can help slow things down when needed.
This activity strengthens essential skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This type of play strengthens your child's depth perception. Depth perception helps your child safely navigate traffic.
- Stimulates gross motor skills, which are boosted whenever your child engages in physical activity.
- Supports your child's vestibular sense, which enhances learning ability, balance, and concentration.
Suitable for children aged 1 yr. to 5 yrs.
A balance bike is a great way to stimulate your child's crossbody coordination and balance from the time they're little. Balance bikes don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike forward with their legs while straddling the bike.
Being able to race around and control their own speed (far more easily than on a standard bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also practise traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without having to worry about them having too many accidents - because your child constantly has a foot on the ground and is able to regain balance or stop the bike.
A fantastic way to prepare for learning to ride a pedal bike. Often, your child can skip using training wheels on their pedal bike, because balance is no problem for them.
Scooters are a great way for children to improve their balance and gross motor skills while at the same time getting plenty of exercise, speed, and fresh air. As a bonus, scooters are easy to take with you everywhere you go - some of our scooters can even be folded up and brought along.
The youngest kids can start with three-wheel scooters, while the older kids (and kids with balance bike experience) can race around on two wheels.
