Suitable for children aged 1 yr. to 11 yrs.

A lot happens during the day that your child doesn’t know is going to happen at all. The ability to plan, organise, and structure doesn't develop until later in childhood or when your child becomes a teenager. Therefore, pictograms can help your child figure out what's going to happen next.

Children think in events rather than minutes and hours. It’s not easy for children to form a thought sequence like “first get dressed, then breakfast, then it's time to leave the house, and this afternoon I get to watch 20 minutes of TV”.

Many children find that their day becomes easier to predict when it's explained to them with visuals. That's exactly why pictograms can be helpful. And children with executive function difficulties, for instance children who experience sensory overload or are on the autism spectrum, can use pictograms to predict and plan their day.

Helps develop essential skills that really benefit your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • A fun activity that supports your child's memory.
  • Encourages your child to become self-reliant. Most children WANT to do things independently, and that motivation for self-reliance is stimulated by the skills and confidence learned through this activity.
